Locally Roasted and Delicious!

Our mission here at Big Shot is to make coffee approachable again. We aim to bridge the gap between commercial fast wave coffee service and the slow down sit and serve of more upscale shops. Our goal is to provide tasty coffee, whether it comes as a Java Shake or a Cortado. Our beans are locally roasted and properly matured to ensure peak performance.

We offer a variety of espressos to meet that need. Our default espresso is a traditional dark roast most would think of when considering espresso. We also offer a single origin, naturally processed, light roast espresso out of Brazil. We even offer a Swiss Water Decaf for those who appreciate the craft, but need to sleep later too.

About the Owner

I'm Lydia Baskin, and I've been fortunate to serve in the coffee industry for 9 wonderful years. My journey has taken me through small, locally-owned coffee shops, large commercial chains, and even coffee roasters. For the past 2.5 years, I've been running my own private coffee and espresso catering service.

Throughout all my experiences, one thing has become clear: coffee has a unique ability to bring out the best in people. It's more than just a beverage; it's a catalyst for connection. Coffee shops have always been safe havens for making meaningful connections – whether it's a chat with your friendly barista, catching up with an old friend, navigating a first date, or preparing for a job interview. This is what truly drives me – the desire to create my own safe space for these connections to flourish.
